Lifeline is an N.F.P support organisation. They receive over 1 million contacts a year, and on October 7 ‘24 alone, they received 4,405. Unfortunately, recent years have seen a significant increase in requests to chat with Lifeline. It saddens me to recognise that so many of us are burdened by such great adversities. But I'm thankful that a growing amount of Australians are open to speaking up about their hardships, and find help. Alas, emotional support isn't easy, it takes a remarkably gifted and empathetic person to take on that role. And regrettably, that's a circumstance that I can't aid. But I can sympathise. Which is why I'm riding the Bobbo 80km on an '80s BMX. Hopefully that way, I too can bring smiles to others, and perhaps, also show them that where they are in that moment really isn't so bad after all. Please help me raise awareness for this matter and fundraise for the selfless souls behind the magic of Lifeline, and the many Australians who seek their help, thank you all.
