My Story
2020 was a rubbish year for all of us! Covid hit hard but it was a wake up call for me. I was diagnosed with a mental health disorder and while being treated I suffered a panic attack. My wife dialed triple zero and was soon transferred to Lifeline.
This ride is for Lifeline, and the many others who suffer from mental health issues/disorders.
Their counsellors provide a vital service for people trying to manage grief, addiction, abuse and in many cases suicide prevention – and I want to give them my support. They receive over a million contacts a year and each phone call costs a little over $25.
Please help as many people in crisis as possible by helping me reach my fundraising target.
